What we do

Disability Huntingdonshire is a registered charity that provides information and advice on a wide range of disability issues. We have a team of trained staff and volunteers, many of whom have direct experience of disability or of caring for someone with a disability. The service is free and impartial and we support people with all kinds of disability and their carers, including:

  • Physical Disability
  • Carers
  • Sensory Impairment
  • Parent Carers
  • Learning Difficulties
  • Young Carers
  • Mental Health Issues
  • Older People

Advice and information is offered by:

  • Telephone
  • Email
  • Post
  • Personal interview

We can also help with: Official Letters, filling in forms, making complaints, appealing to tribunals and official bodies. Work experience placements for disabled people wishing to return to employment.


Our services are free, independent and impartial. We work from our offices at Pendrill Court , Papworth Everard and we are available on Monday to Friday from 9-30 to 2-30, we can take telephone consultations on 01480 748 168 or 0330 3553 256, e-mails on info@dish.org.uk and where necessary, we can make home visits.
