We are the only organisation locally who will also help people in their own homes, which is often the only way those most at need can access help to get benefits that will keep them independent and out of care homes or hospital.
Many of our staff, volunteers and trustees have a disability themselves or care for someone with a disability and so understand the barriers disabled people can face. With the complex changes in the welfare benefits system, our services are more in demand than ever.
