Disability Huntingdonshire (DISH) are a small, but long-standing, disability charity based in Huntingdon. We have been in operation since 1991 and have a long history of successfully supporting disabled people. We provide benefits advice, guidance and support for disabled people and their carers. A society where individuals are valued and respected for their differences
Enable individuals with disabilities to achieve independence and live with choice and dignity
Our clients should be empowered to live full and independent lives
We are an efficient and effective organisation
We believe that all citizens regardless of abilities, needs or diversity should be treated equally.
We aim to work with and alongside our clients, not to do things to or for them. We also strive to work closely with other organisations who further the cause of our clients in the local community.
It is our duty to develop skill and competence so that we can effectively support and advise our clients.
We respect and value the diverse community within which we operate. We also strive to work closely with other organisations
