We are pleased to share an important update about our charity. To better reflect the wider area we now cover and the broader range of communities we support, our registered name has changed. Although our work began in Huntingdonshire, we now provide information, guidance and support to people beyond that original area. 

This change marks the next stage in our development and helps ensure our name reflects who we are today: a service focused on accessible, practical and personalised information for people living with a disability, carers, families and professionals. 

What is changing? 

Our new registered name is Disability Information Services Hub. We will continue to use our familiar working name, DISH, which many people already know and recognise. 

Why have we changed our name? 

As demand for our services has grown, so has the area we support. Our new registered name gives a clearer picture of the work we do and the communities we serve. It also helps make our purpose easier to understand for new clients, partner organisations and funders. 

What stays the same? 

Our commitment to providing accessible information, guidance and support remains unchanged. The same dedicated team will continue to support people with clear, practical information and a friendly, approachable service. 

Our contact details, values and day-to-day support remain the same. People who already know us as DISH can continue to use that name when getting in touch with us. 

What this means for you 

You do not need to take any action. If you currently receive support from us, or if you work with us as a partner organisation, you can continue to contact us as usual. 

We would like to thank everyone who has supported DISH as our work has grown. We look forward to continuing to provide trusted information and support to the communities we serve.
